They just don't Know

In Matthew 24:24 Jesus warned us that in these last days we were to expect false prophets to arise.

Very often the vision people have of a false prophet is all too limiting. The originator and disciples of influential world religions are commonly overlooked or are relegated to being discussed only in passing statements by the majority of Bible believers.

The small minority which devote themselves at any great length to exposing the most powerful bastions of Satan's deceptions quite often find their moral and physical support steadily erode. Sadly, trust in the truth of the Lord does not overcome the fear of the repercussions anticipated from causing an offense to those who are perishing.

This does not mean that believers should throw wisdom, tact and love to the wind, but that the time to make the truth known is limited and when opportunities to expose darkness are made available by God then the moment must be seized if a full reward is desired.

Many feel inadequate to criticize other religions because of limited understanding about other beliefs, or else it may be due to a lack of presentable Bible knowledge.

A simple and direct statement is all that is needed to reveal that the Bible contains the only true Word of God. The statement is, "they just don't know."

The verifiable truth is that no other religious writings contain the likes of the fulfilled, being fulfilled, soon fulfilled and eventually to be fulfilled prophecy found only in the pages of the Holy Bible.

The world has never witnessed anything anywhere as awesome as the 100% accurate predictive power which has been demonstrated in Scripture and it never will, because they just don't know!

Challenge any proponent of another religion to produce an invitation from their gods for men to test their god's purported omniscience by investigation of whether or not they truly live in the eternal past and future. Ask for the evidence to prove that their gods know all things of the future.

The true God of Scripture and His prophets have no reluctance in demonstrating that this Divine specialty belongs to the God of the Bible alone and challenges all would be usurpers to prove themselves likewise by this test in the arena of the Almighty.

They will all fail this test and in fact will never enter the ring because the contest can only be waged by a God Who is deserving of the eternal name, "I AM."

The Almighty "I AM" proclaims, "Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? And former times, that we may say, 'He is righteous'? Surely there is no one who declares" (Isaiah 41:26).

"Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginnings, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My council shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure'…Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it" (Isa. 46:8-11).

"Present your case," says the Lord. "Bring forth your strong reasons says the King of Jacob. "Let them bring forth and show the former things (in other words tell us about the origin of the cosmos and life), what they were, That we may consider them, And know the latter end of them; Or declare to us things to come. Show the things that are to come hereafter, That we may know that you are gods: Yes, do good or do evil, That we may be dismayed and see it together" (Isa. 41:21-23).

What person would send a sick loved one to an unqualified person to have them taken care of? A respectable physician, when faced with an affliction he is not knowledgeable about, will admit he doesn't know the answer for a cure and will direct a patient to someone who is more able then themselves in a particular area.

Yet, people everyday are risking their everlasting destinies and the eternity of their loved ones with promises from false gods and prophets that cannot tell what tomorrow will bring, let alone the infinite future which awaits mankind.

What delusional hope makes them believe that demonstratively helpless gods can oversee, evaluate and keep track of every living individual and then assure some kind of glorious cosmic immortality is beyond reason.

We have been warning the people of this generation that time is extremely short.
Some believers may go on ahead to glory before the rest of the Church is Raptured (I Thess. 4:15-18), but the time of separation between dead and living believers will be short even by man's appraisal of time.

It is God's good pleasure to receive His Church into Heaven. The Lord has made this promise by His unfailing perfect Word and He will surely bring it to pass.

Just how short might the time remaining be, one might ask?

God has focused much of His prophecies for these final days around Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and their recapturing of Jerusalem in 1967.

You will find no accurate prophecies of these two historical endtime events in any religious writings other than the Bible because - they just didn't know. For further study see Rapture Watch Message, "The final Word for Jerusalem."

In the year 2007 we will begin the 40th year since Israel regained control over Jerusalem.

Revelation 10:7, 11:15 & 12:10 reveal that the return of Christ and the finish to the mystery of God will commence apx. 3 ½ years into the final 7-year Tribulation Period. ("But in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets…Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"…"Now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.") Revelation 11 reveals a major challenge for the souls of men will be taking place in Jerusalem as Christ brings the mystery of God to a close.

In Matthew 24:32-35 Jesus told the disciples that all the things He had been speaking of would be fulfilled in the generation that witnessed when a certain fig tree would put forth it's leaves.

The fig tree is a biblical symbol of national Israel. Israel was restored as a nation in 1948.
It is our opinion that Israel put forth her leaves in June of 1967 when Jerusalem was recaptured. Holy Scripture supports this teaching.

Mark 11:11-22 reveals a direct relationship between the greening of the fig tree and the role of Jerusalem. It is necessary and of profound significance to have the understanding that a fig tree produces fruit before its leaves when reading this passage from Mark.

Jesus was entering Jerusalem to receive the fruit of Israel's faith (see Luke 20:9-16). They had a display of duty to God when He arrived, but no true faith. Jerusalem had plenty of leaves implying fruitfulness, but was barren nonetheless. It was not their fruitful season of faith when they would receive the Son of God.

In these last days, collective Israel once again has had Jerusalem and the holy sites returned to her care Just like it was at Christ's first coming there is still no fruit, only a token show of religion which will culminate under the hand of Anti-Christ during the first 3 ½ years of the tribulation.

In Revelation 11, at the midpoint of the tribulation, two prophets of God will come to Jerusalem to evaluate if there is fruitful worship to be found among the leaves.

The parable of the fig tree in Luke 13:6-9 is a companion passage to these events, representing both Christ's first coming as the rejected Messiah and Israel's approaching time of great tribulation. Only then will she be made able to produce the worthy fruit expected by her creator upon His return. He who is not just Creator of Israel, but of all.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it…He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:1-5 & 10-14)."

A common interpretation of a biblical generation is approx. Forty years. It should be remembered that it was within forty years after Jesus prophesied the existing generation would witness the destruction of Jerusalem in that His words came to pass in 70 AD (Matt. 23:36-38).

The things that Jesus then spoke of in Matt. 24 for a future generation of Jews to watch for are of the greatest of significance (Matt. 24:32-34). They are signs of His Second Coming and the end of the age; signs which we as the Church would be wise to recognize are upon us since we will be Raptured 7 years before Jesus returns to the earth and 3 ½ years before the mystery of God is finished (Rev. 10:7).

Time is swiftly running out.

In closing it must be asked, "Can anyone in another religion receive salvation without Jesus Christ?"

God was manifest in the flesh of Jesus Christ so let us hear what the only Son of God has said in John 14:6, "Jesus said…I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father except through Me."

God's Word is faithful as recorded in the Bible and contains the only hope of eternal life for those who would believe.

God has made known and purposed it that unless a person has believed in His Son's atoning blood sacrifice to cover their sins, then they will die in the darkness of their sins and will forever be removed from the glorious light of His presence.

Tell everyone while God is still near because most just don't know.
