As the world is challenged each December with the herald that the Lord Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, at the same time mankind is plagued with Satan's anti-Christs that attempt to discourage faith and undermine belief in the only Son of God for salvation.
As we shared in Part I of this message, anti-Christs come in all different guises. Some blatantly blaspheme the person of Jesus, others use calculated techniques designed to feign a superior spiritual or intellectual position over Christ, while others just boldly present themselves as Christ in place of the Risen Lord Jesus.
We first looked at an example of the first type of blatant anti-Christ in the person of heavy-metal-gothic-shock rocker Marilyn Manson who proudly proclaims himself to be "AntiChrist Superstar."
We then examined an example of the second type in Sun Myung Moon who claims spiritual superiority to what he says was the failed mission of Jesus Christ. In an Oct., 2004 full page ad he spoke of not only being superior to Jesus Christ, but also made the claim of being the only person who had ever attained perfection. He mentioned ever so briefly that the heart of victory was found in the mystery of God's relationship to the sex organ.
To get a better picture of the theology of this person who claims superiority to all of mankind and even over Jesus who he gives token acknowledgment as being the Son of God, it seems important that we also read what he spoke 6 years ago.
In the Jan. 6, ‘97 edition of the Denver Post a two page ad by Sun Myung Moon was published. The opening paragraphs declared "The words that follow are not concepts of one man's thinking. Rather they are a direct revelation from God especially for this age."
We will now quote excerpts from this article which reveal the heart of Mr. Moon's revelation as an example of the second type of anti-Christ which in many ways is far more dangerous than "Marilyn Manson." We quote "We come to know that God possesses dual characteristics of male and female...
You do not know what makes man man, and woman woman. The answer is : the sexual organs. Is there anyone here who dislikes the sexual organs? If you like them, how much do you like them?...
Then why do the sexual organs exist? For love...
You use the bathroom each morning. When you defecate, do you wear a gas mask? If you are near someone else defecating, you will quickly move a good distance away. But when you smell your own feces, you do not even notice it...
Did you ever taste the dried mucus from your nose? Does it taste sweet or salty?...
When you cough up phlegm, you sometimes swallow it, right?...
Why do you not feel it is dirty? Because the phlegm was one with your body...
It is because we are one with it. In the same way, we have love, life, lineage and conscience...
Just like us, God has love, live, lineage and conscience, but He cannot feel them by Himself...
God cannot feel them. That is why God also needs an object partner. We understand the necessity of an object partner from this perspective...
Then what would God need? What part of your body would God need most? Within Him, God has both masculinity and femininity, but to exist as Father, His being is that of a male subject. With this in mind would we say that God needs a love partner?...
What kind of partner does God want?...
God wants a love partner. Thus, centering on the place where husband and wife become one through their sexual organs, God wants to appear and meet us...
All people who died until now fell into Hell. No one entered the Kingdom of Heaven. From this perspective, we can see that Jesus came as Savior of humankind but could not enter the Kingdom of Heaven...
In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus would have had to form a family. That is why Jesus wants to come again. Jesus was to marry, form a family, serve and live with God in that family, and then enter the Kingdom of Heaven with that family. He could not enter the Kingdom of heaven by himself alone...
Should Jesus have married? Jesus should have married. Is Jesus a woman or a man? If there is a woman saint, would Jesus not desire to marry her? During the creation of Adam and Eve, God granted them their own sexual organs. Why would He have done that?...

Reverend Moon has lived an entire life overcoming a suffering path in order to initiate this kind of movement worldwide. Now the time has come for Reverend Moon to trumpet the fanfare of victory and move the entire world."
False christ Moon was careful to not instruct people to look into the Bible to see for themselves if his revelations were truth or deception. What they would find is that Jesus Christ accomplished all He set out to do and that God has made this same Jesus which was crucified both Lord and Christ and now sits at the right hand of God in Heaven (see Acts. 2:36, Rom. 8:34, Col. 3:1 & Heb. 10:10-13 for examples).
At this point we should include our other type of this anti-Christ, the one who instead of spiritual superiority claims to have superior understanding. This type of anti-Christ uses intellectualism and eloquence to present their disdain for Christ in a fashionable way.
During the months of November and December of 2004, there was an ad campaign to present and promote ABC's newsman Peter Jennings as the voice the people of America trusts. The huge campaign was being done in anticipation of the departure of ABC's and CBS's long established news anchors. Tom Brokaw, American's true favorite of trust has already stepped down as of Dec., 2004.
Peter Jennings has made clear to the world his opinion of Jesus Christ and the Bible.
On June 26, ‘00, Peter Jennings presented the Jesus he claims to have uncovered during his ambitious two-hour documentary which he developed over a two-year period. According to the Denver Post preview article of June 23, ‘00 by Richard N. Ostling which headlined, "ABC's Peter Jennings reports on a ‘Search for Jesus,'" Jennings' conclusions were predictable given its sources.
These conclusions are: "...that the Gospel writers "were not eyewitnesses," that "most scholars...think that Jesus' nature miracles were invented by the Gospel writers as advertisements for Christianity," and that "Jesus was executed, not for blasphemy as the Gospels indicate, but as a political revolutionary."
Richard Ostling reported that, "ABC's conclusions were predictable because "...the key talking heads consist of five American liberals, a middle-roader in Israel and a lone traditionalist from England." Mr. Ostling went onto observe that "Jennings seems to have discovered none of the estimable moderate and conservative religious scholars in America...nor does it hear from prime figures in the debate...ABC's implicit plot line pits the touching faith in the Gospels among common folk against the experts who supposedly know better."
That a professional newscaster would so obviously demonstrate such bias and be supported in such a journalistic endeavor causes one to stop and think.
The reason the report was so one sided is the same reason that ecumenical dominion religious leaders, new-age proponents and globalists of every persuasion undermine and attack the biblical revelations of Jesus Christ and His soon return. That is because there are men in temporary authority with an agenda which is nurtured by a spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places (Eph. 6:12).
It is the evil day spoken of in Ephesians 6:13-17 where the true believers are instructed to withstand the forces of iniquity by taking up the whole armor of God and to expect the quenching of the fiery darts of the wicked one. Mankind is dancing to the heartless spirits and the ballroom of the earth is being filled with fools clamoring for an even bigger orchestra. The songs are those that call for the word of God to be questioned and done away with and the Risen Christ banished as the only hope of the salvation of the world.
The men taking authority say it is alright to pray to idols, to commune with spirits as long as we call them the Holy Spirit, to align in purpose with agents of darkness and to preach a "many ways to heaven" gospel. The Word of God is always open to question. They instruct their followers to re-evaluate the Jesus that is found in the Scriptures and like Peter Jennings tell them of how the search for the real Jesus continues on.
Our last example of an anti-Christ is the man known to New Age followers as Lord Maitreya. Long awaited as the Messiah, the Mahdi, Maitreya Buddha, Krishna, and the Christ, he is touted as a teacher and guide for all humanity - those of every religion and no religion. Mr. Maitreya has lied to the world with the announcement of his planned appearing now for a total of 3 different times. On each announced date he has claimed that he was going to manifest himself in some supernatural way.
The first time back in 1982, he said he was going to be simultaneously on every radio and television set in the world, speaking telepathically to every person on earth in their own language.
On Nov. 24, ‘88 Mr. Maitreya had prophesied that a worldwide stock market crash would take place within 5 months and would set the stage for the day of his declaration. We needn't point out that this event didn't happen either.
Again in 1990, Mr. Maitreya announced a day of supernatural arrival and then once more failed to appear as promised. Another blunder on the part of this false prophet was the fact that with all of his self-acclaimed great powers of prognostication, he failed to foretell of an earthquake which struck his residence in London, England just 2 days before his ad ran. So great was this earthquake as was reported in the Gazette Telegraph April 3rd Edition that, "The quake...was felt from...London to...the Scottish border."
Jesus Christ prophesied that in the last days just prior to His return to earth from the heavens with all glory and power men would arise and would dare to call themselves Christ.
Quoting from Jesus in Matthew 24:5, "For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will deceive many." Our only Savior Jesus Christ saw Mr. Maitreya coming down the road a long time ago, as He saw so many others such as the Rev. Sun Myung Moon and even the likes of Marilyn Manson and Peter Jennings. These are the final hours and it is fearful to contemplate the judgment that awaits these anti-Christs.
The truth is that Jesus Christ will not physically return to this earth again to marry some woman nor to telepathically speak to everyone on TV. He has already come once and He was crucified for our sins. No greater sign than His love on the cross will ever be given. His next appearance on earth will be one of judgment.
God requires that you believe in His Son Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. You do this now in Spirit and in Truth and continue in assurance of salvation by His abiding grace and nothing else..
In Ch. 19 of the Bible Book of Revelation you can read of the true, soon coming of Christ the Lord of lords and King of kings and in I Thessalonians 4:15-18 we can read of the day Jesus will remove every true believer from the earth before the appearing of the beastly last day's man of Satan called "The Anti-Christ."
Don't put off salvation - the night is far spent.
